Participating together in CP-ACHIEVE

The CP-Achieve Participation Theme team, comprised of young people with lived experience of CP and parents of young people with CP, collaborated together with health professionals and educators/researchers, to explore and understand participation experiences across the life domains.

After 2.5 years of working together, we undertook a review of our groups vision, work and outcomes to see what we had done well, what we could improve on and what we had learnt.

Our consumers have informed our direction and we have all learnt a lot about 'being involved' in our CP-Achieve research.  We decided to write an article about our experiences with the hope that this may inspire other groups to learn from our co-design and collaborations.
