Lyndal Hickey

Dr Lyndal Hickey is a Lecturer – Teaching and Research in the Department of Social Work at the University of Melbourne. She is an Associate Researcher with the Australian Centre for Health, Independence, Economic Participation and Value Enhanced Care for adolescents and adults with cerebral palsy (CP - Achieve) at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. Lyndal's research is focused on supportive psychosocial interventions for families caring for a person with a disability or health condition. She has a broad range of professional experience in social work and family therapy clinical practice and leadership, service development, academic teaching, practice-based research, project management and policy development.
