Associate Professor Leanne Sakzewski

Leanne Sakzewski is an Associate Professor at the Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre, Faculty of Medicine, The University of Queensland. She has an international track record in conducting randomised clinical trials in the field of cerebral palsy and childhood onset acquired brain injuries, investigating the efficacy of intensive motor training, participation-focused intervention to increase physically active leisure, and social skills group-based interventions. She has strong collaborations with clinical trialists and clinical services which has enabled the developmental and successful funding of large multi-site trials of novel interventions for infants, children and youth with cerebral palsy.
