Aimee Bingley
I am: I am a 1st year Occupational Therapy student living in Melbourne. I am a New Zealand citizen but have lived in Australia since 2016. I have also lived in London for two years. Prior to my study, I was a Veterinary nurse who worked in emergency clinics, caring for mostly dogs and cats, and some rabbits along the way. I am friendly, outgoing, and genuine with a good sense of humour.
My main interests are: I love travelling and also animals. I have a dog named Baloo, a labradoodle, who is very fluffy and friendly. My other hobbies include socialising with my friends, and also snuggling up on the couch watching a marvel movie or something else action/adventure. I also enjoy cooking and making my own pasta.
I volunteered as a mentor because: I volunteered because I am passionate about enabling people to do the things they want to do. I feel that I am a friendly and helpful person, who works collaboratively with others and enjoys meeting and engaging with new people. If I could help someone to achieve their goals, share their voice, and be a part of something that is meaningful to them, then that's what I want to do.
